We went to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend! The kids had a blast!

Oh! Look at those Muscles big boy!

Off to find a Pumpkin

Look at those crazy drivers!

Z and J in the huge combine/swing/slide/tunnel!

You'd be surprised how fun a huge box o' corn can be!

We did not buy that pumpkin...Showoff!
Hey! We grow our own too!

Proof that boys don't ever grow up!

What a big Boy!

She could just barely lift it!

Jumping on the giant pillow thing

Ahhhhh! It's the children of the corn!

What he lacks in height he makes up for in Personality!

Imagine all the Knee socks!

So I have huge exciting news this week....
Big!
Are you ready?????
While I was at our local Consignment shop (my favorite place to hang) one of the ladies who works there was casually asking how our move was going. I was half in the conversation and half drooling over a pair of boots when I heard her say-
"You know they are building a new Target over there" (there being near where I am moving)
Of course I snapped to attention right away "what? They are?"
"Yes" she said ,"and not just a regular Target......a multi level one!" (I could tell by the reverence in her voice that this was a woman who has frequented their wonderful dollar bins)
OMG!!!!! I didn't even know such a thing existed!!!!! I swear saw a heavenly beam of light shine down and heard a Chorus of angels! (Tara can you imagine how many adorable pairs of knee socks they can fit into multi levels...Oh and they have grown up leg warmers there!)
I now have an Ikea, a Costco, and a soon to be Multi level Target near my house! It's the Holy Trinity(thanks Jen Lancaster for giving it a term), all with in a short drive (whole foods and Trader Joe's are nearby too)!!! Now I just need to figure out how in the heck to get wealthy from a Coast Guard career so that I have money to spend. I know it sounds like the impossible dream, but until recently a multi level Target seemed like the stuff of Fairy tales too!
So that's my big, look at how unbelievably shallow I am, news! A Multi Level Target! (which almost makes up for parquet floors)

The rest of my week will be packing and planning for Z's birthday!
Oh and I got gas for 2.95 a gallon last night!!!! WooHoo!
I also want to add that as far as the Knee Socks are concerned, Tara called it First!

These are a few of my favorite things

Ok so I was thinking about Amy' Ricky shed, Tara's taupe walls, Lauries fab lake view (umm...Gorgeous!), Brenda's wrap around porch (and pacific northwest room), and Michelle's....well the only thing I have seen from Michelle's house is a nail polish covered couch...(congrats. by the way on getting it out! I think that Magic Erasers are Gods newest miracle on Earth. I have the feeling that Bibles in the future will say "Then unto man he gaveth the Magic Eraser, and spaketh to the Mommy's saying "Cry no more over Thy Crayon wall.."

Anyways one of those websites on the side bar (tip junkie?) has people send in pictures of their favorite things, and I think we Coffee Girls should do the same! For this week I think we should post pictures of 5 things from our houses. It does not have to be part of your actual house, just the stuff you stash in it or outside of it! (Nobody better post a picture of their husband or family either! This is the time to be selfishly braggy not all righteous and sappy thank you!) Maybe we could do this from time to time, and post 5 different things!

Here are my current Faves. (they change frequently)
This is my messy Ikea bookcase...I love it!
I have a smaller one in my living room that my TV is on, I love hiding all my junk in those wicker baskets!

This is my box o' scrapbooking ink. I don't actually ever do anything with it, but looking at all the neat little boxes of pretty colors makes me smile!
This is the view from my front porch. Nothing fancy, but oh so peaceful! I'll
miss this the most when we move!
This is my brand spankin' new Halloween tree! I got it from our local consignment shop for only $2! If we ever post our 5 favorite places that shop would make my list!
This is the first thing I would grab if my house were on fire! I made so much fun of my cousin when he bought one, but when we moved to the land of Dunkin' Donuts coffee (the coffee of choice 'round here) I knew I needed one! I can make a latte to rival Starbucks (9bars of pressure in 25 seconds thank you) right in my own kitchen! (but lets not get carried away, I would totally trade it for a coffee hut within' 5 miles of my house, there is just something about those darn huts!)
I threw this one in because I believe in thanking the Lord (or is it proctor and gamble)for his everyday Miracles!
