Movin', movin', movin'...

So again I don't have much for the coffee crowd! I am trying to think of my 5 moments for Brenda, but I have to go back and read if it was for this last week, or 5 moments ever. (I do realise that I could simply click the mouse twice and than know, but I am really, really lazy ladies!)
We are living in a mountain of Boxes yet again! This is getting all too familiar. You know you move to much when your kids don't even bat an eyelash at the prospect of moving to a whole new house in a brand new town. I am sure I am setting them up for years of therapy somewhere down the road...but I need a dishwasher, so they'll have to deal!
I am Jealous that Tara is in Charleston right now! I want to go on a pontoon boat ride and eat cupcakes from a shi-shi bakery too!
We did take a time out from moving to celebrate my husband turning 35, and to go to Lancaster. I have to toot my own horn and say that I made my husband a Delicious cake! For those of you who don't know I am a bit baking/frosting obsessed! I made him a devils food cake, which I brushed with an espresso simple syrup, filled it with fresh raspberry filling, and frosted it with a french mocha buttercream (as in no powdered sugar in sight)! It was sooo yummy! Someday we will have to all meet for a girls weekend. Brenda can bring her Pumpkin muffins and her barbecue sauce, Amy her Cheesecake and Oreo balls, Tara her onion brie puffs, and those Chile pepper things, Laurie her mango salsa, Michelle can bring her specialty, and I'll bring the cake! We would probably all go into diabetic shock and gain 10lbs. but who cares...it would so be worth it!!! Oh and Brenda, I totally want your pumpkin muffin recipe!!!
So anyway by this time next week I will be posting from my new house! Yay!
I promise to post my 5 things later, I just need a lot more coffee before I am in an appreciative mood! (trust me it would not be a pretty list at the current moment)

Forget packing...

We had a blast at Dutch Wonderland and Cherry Crest farm! We were expecting DW to be great, but we had no idea Cherry Crest was as great as it is, we are already planning a trip back to both! Lancaster is such a fun place to visit, if you ever get the chance to go, you definitely should! I have loads more pictures(of course) and will post more of them for you family types later! I just wanted to make sure Grandma had some to hold her over until then!

Jacob is a little Princess hog, every time she started to walk away to visit some other kid he would call her back over!

We opted to go on the wagon ride through the corn maze rather than try and walk it. They say it takes the average person over 3 hours to complete! Ummm...three hours with my children in a corn maze with no way out...I think I'll pass!

Jacob decided climbing out the top of the hay tunnel would be more fun than climbing through it!

I have to say that I thought we had picked every type of food available at u-pick farms, but this was absolutely the first time we had ever picked our own popcorn! It actually pops on the cob! Z is saving it for when A comes to visit in November.

This was the highlight of the whole trip to Z, she loved holding the baby chicks!

Mom this is a movie, press the little triangle button to make it go!
The whole day was sooo much fun! It was a nice break from all the stinkin' moving stuff!

Is it Thursday again all ready????

Wow this week has flown by!
I really have nothin' for y'all this week! I have been packing and schlepping boxes from my house to my friends garage (thanks Laurie!) all week! I am very excited about the fact that gas is now only 2.54 a gallon, because I am doing all that schlepping in my big gas guzzling SUV.
We are going to Cherry Crest farm and Dutch wonderland soon. Cherry crest farm has all kinds of fun farm activity's that kids can participate in and a ginormous (5 acre) corn maze for them to get lost in! Z wanted a farm birthday so we thought it would be an appropriate place.
Dutch Wonderland (think Disney for the under 10 set) is having a Halloween evening, and is in the same area as Cherry Crest, so we are headed for some roller coasters and a trick or treat trail after our farm chores! It will either be a ton of fun, or just way too long a day for my kiddo's! We shall see!
We are moving into our new house in less than two weeks!
I can't wait to wash dishes in a dishwasher again!!!
Dinner at my house this week is going to be whatever I can make in the pot and skillet that aren't packed!
