Sorry I didn't blog last week, we were busy making Valentines for Z to take to her Daisy troop (we made Daisy's with lollipop centers) and to her classroom and teachers! I forgot to take a picture of her cute valentines outfit, or of the flower valentines, but her are the ones she brought for her class, alligators for the boys and butterflies for the girls! She signed her name on the back of them, help to cute them out, glued sparkly hearts on them, and stuck the lollipops in. They were a hit, and she was quite proud of her little self! (The alligators say "I'd snap at the chance to be your valentine" on their tongues...too cute!) We got the ideas for them from the Skip to my Lou blog over on my sidebar.
We also made heart shaped cake pops for her teachers, and Jacobs "teachers" at the gym. You can kinda see the round shaped ones in the cookie jar behind the valentines, but I forgot to take a picture of the heart shaped ones. If you have not caught on the the cake pop craze, you should check out the Bakerella blog, also on my sidebar. Super Adorable!!!
On Friday we had J's party. The rain melted the snow in the "mountains" (they call them that here, but honestly, they're just hills) so we took him to a little indoor water park near our house. He had a blast! When we got home we had a Dinosaur/Dragon party. He wanted shrimp (pronounced shrump in J man speech) and crab, so we made kabobs ('cause everything is more fun on a stick when you are 3) and crab legs! He loved it!
The cake is a hybrid dinosaur/dragon! He wanted it to breath fire, but it couldn't have wings! I think it came out pretty stinkin' cute considering I had only about an hour to finish it!

I have been slowly "springing" up my house, even though it is only 2o something out today and super windy! I bought pretty tulips at Trader Joes for my windowsill, and have been pulling some of my springy decorations down from the attic. We had some day's in the 70's recently, and I guess it put me in a Spring mood!
We have been madly devouring Girl Scout cookies (there are not enough treadmills in the free world to combat those chocolate coated crack nuggets!), and still have them for sale if you are interested! Z's Girl scout leader gets an order in every week, and that is just downright dangerous!
I have gone Corker Crazy!!! I'll post pics. next week...
(You like that? A little teaser to keep you comin' back for more. I'm takin' my cues from Lost and leavin' you with a cliffhanger!)
Does nobody watch American Idol??? I need some more people to make fun of Bikini Girl, and Paula (thank God for the mute button), and Crazy Tatiana with?
